Why people have me back
The bits that actually matter
Ask anyone I’ve worked for and the same few words keep coming up.
- 01
One man, start to finish
I do the work myself. Nothing’s subbed out, so the standard on the last day is the standard on the first.
- 02
On time, every time
I turn up when I say I will, and if something changes you hear it from me first, not after you have waited in.
- 03
Leaves it spotless
“… the tidiest workman we’ve had to date!” I clear up inside and out, and I check you’re happy before I go.
- 04
Keeps you in the loop
You’ll know what’s happening and when. I’d rather tell you about a hold-up than leave you wondering.
In their words
220 reviews, 9.92 out of 10
“… The doors were hung beautifully and were completed in good time. Matt then cleaned up after himself and checked that I was happy with everything …”
“Matt fitted 22 internal doors for us during the recent heatwave! He was always on time, very friendly and the tidiest workman we’ve had to date! …”
“… He finished the work in good time, was very polite and hardworking and my bookcases turned out beautifully. I will definitely be hiring him again for any carpentry needs.”

The man behind the tools
Hi, I’m Matt
I’ve been a carpenter for over twenty years, NVQ Level 3 qualified since 2001, working right across Bridgwater and Somerset. Doors and flooring are my bread and butter, but I take on everything from media walls and fitted furniture to kitchens, staircases, and decking and cladding outside.
It’s just me on the tools, so you deal with one person the whole way through. The same face who quotes the job is the one who does it, and leaves your house tidy at the end. That’s how I’ve ended up with 220 reviews at 9.92 out of 10, and it’s how I’d like to earn yours.
